Default KK in BB

Villain is 70/10 over the 10 hands, for what it's worth.

Half-pot the turn for value and to buy a cheap showdown.

As is you pretty much have to fold on the river.

Problem with betting the turn is, in my opinion, that my hand is quite vulnerable - there are not many cards I'd like to see on the river.
I'd rather play a small pot on the river, than a big. If villain is on the ace-high flush draw, he is probably not gonna fold to a ½ pot bet after calling the flop bet - therefore I felt it was better to check the turn behind.

Of course. That's why you bet the turn.

This seems illogical, right? Well at 25NL, most villians will check the river to you if you bet the turn. Therefore, betting the turn will allow you to check behind on the river and get to showdown cheaply. Few villians are savy enough to check/call on the turn and then push the river into you.

Why do you want to miss out on getting value from a hand you're ahead of?

I definately see your point, but I don't like betting into a calling station with one pair, when it's possible I'm drawing dead, or to one or two outs.
I might be seeing ghosts here, but how do you think villain would play a flush here?

Why? Calling stations will call with worse hands and give you value.

This board sucks, but there is no reason to think that your hand isn't still good. Get some value.

By check/raising the turn or river. In which case you just fold.
