Default This hand sucked. A-high flush draw on paired board.

I don't have many hands on villain, and I haven't noticed anything from him yet. Stats after 50 hands or so at 26/13/15. I guess fold preflop until I get a better read. What do you think?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

SB ($164.70)
BB ($1018.55)
UTG ($623)
Hero ($746.45)
Button ($73.50)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
UTG raises to $15, Hero calls $15, 1 fold, SB (poster) calls $13, 1 fold.

Flop: ($49) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($49) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, UTG bets $25, Hero raises to $75, SB folds, UTG raises to $175, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $299

Also, open letter to twp:

Fold preflop...I don't think I'd ever play A3s to a raise like that

And I definitely wouldn't try put a move when a jack falls on the turn...if you wanted to do anything, you should have bet the flop.

Preflop is meh. Folding is fine but you're pretty deep and have a hand that can make the nuts or deceptive two pair / trips. I don't have strong opinions either way.

Postflop is fine.

He's utg though, so chances are he has a fairly legitimate hand.

LOLOLOLOLOL.

hey wtf, i'd consider betting this flop. I love checking if it's not a paired board, to give a lower flush draw a free draw (and a 100% chance to get stacked!) but given pfr seems not interested, and it's very draw heavy, it's worth putting in a bet.

Raising that turn card is bad, because... you could be drawing dead, and if you get played with, you may just have to fold a live draw (like is the case).

i have to admit, i fold this pre-flop too, but pre-flop is not very important imo (im very raise/re-raise/fold pre-flop, except with low/mid pockets)

bet the flop when it's checked to you, and then take the good odds when they check-mini-raise you with the 9
