Default 3/6 88 vs. unknown...too aggressive?

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I hope I can be a valuable contributor, as I've learned a lot from the forums.

I didn't have much of a read on Villain, as he had only been at the table for one orbit. However, he did get aggressive with a marginal hand a few hands before.

3bet the flop, lead turn. you have the best hand on the flop most likely. having the initiative makes that turn card so much easier to play.

i don't know what worse hands call or better hands fold on the river. he'd have to be pretty bad to call with Kh6x or whatever

3 bet this flop. The ace on the turn sucks. I don't like check raising once it gets there. He folds what you beat and calls the rest down.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm sort of new to playing shorthanded, and I run into situations like this all the time and feel like I screw them up more often than not.

As it turned out, I was lucky that CO played his hand badly, and called down with Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
