Default help me buy a wedding gift.

I'm looking to get a friend from college and his new wife a belated wedding present. They are 23 and living on their own so they probably could use a lot of practical things. I guess I'm looking for something that is around $100 or so, but I have no idea where to start. So OOT I ask for your help.

Hot chick....

Do they have a registry?

If so, just get the first thing listed there.

If not, they have already condemned themselves to crappy wedding presents that they don't want or need, so just go with the flow and get them a sack of doorknobs.

Well, that's just f'n stupid. If they are not considerate enough to set up a registry, don't pull your hair out trying to find a good gift. You can try to get something they really need, but they probably already received 3 or 4 "State of Kansas" jello molds.

A perfect gift that costs about $100 is a check for $100.

Home Depot gift card. That way you are really getting a present for your buddy, but it counts a couples gift. A 23-year-old can never own enough power tools.
