Default Stars $.05 $.10 level

I have been starting out playing the $1.20 45 player SNG on Stars, as I am starting with a bankroll of $120, but I like playing Omaha High and was wondering what the competiton is like at the $.05 / $.10 level, does anyone play at this level? With $120 bankroll, Would this be the appropriate level to play or could I possibly play the $.10 / $.25 with my bankroll?

Why don't you start at the lower level, get a grip on your game and then move up. You have roughly 5 buy ins for the .10/.25 game, and that can go awfully quick on the wrong table.

From what I've seen, the play level is significantly better on the .05/.10 than on the .01/.02 tables. So much so that I'd be prepared to say that the level of play is about the same at .05/.10 as at .10/.25. The .05/.10s are often populated by the better .01/.02 players and slumming .10/.25 and .25/.50 players.

The .01/.02 PLO tables are a small bankroll's dream come true however. I do reasonably well at .10/.25 tables but lately I've been able to make almost as many $/hand at the .01/.02s.

I highly recommend playing some .01/.02 PL Omaha at Stars. I can pull about $8 an hour average simply by limping with almost any hand (rarely are there any raises) and then just massaging the pot when i do hit before jamming it. Most opponents overvalue their hands as well, and will pay you off with as little as two pair.

It also helps that you can buy in for as many as 250 Big Blinds ($5), and no one can buy in for less than 50 ($1). Furthermore, a few months ago when I first started to build my bankroll there most people bought in for $1 or $2 while only the better ones bought in for $5. Now it seems that almost everyone buys in for $5. This makes for VERY profitable situations indeed.

You can make a lot of money here simply limping with any moderate or better pair and waiting to flop an overfull and then crush the two players who hit boat draws/underfulls. People will even call large bets here with str8 and flush draws.
