Bluffing AK on ragged turn, making pair on river.
This is a fictional hand.
1-2 NL B+M MP is a somewhat loose passive, middle-aged man. He limps a lot preflop, and if popped to $12 or so behind him, will often call the raise after limping. He will show continuation aggression after the flop, but will often call big raises OOP with very speculative hands. Basically, when he's calling a big raise, he could have a small pair or he could have a gutshot draw. Rarely does he slowplay a hand two pair or better. but he is capable. He will also make a 5x raise in MP when first to enter with the following range, or similar: 66-AA, AK-A9, KQ-KT, QJ Again, fictional hand. Please do not critique preflop, flop, or turn play. I'm speaking specifically to the river in this hand. MP raises to $10. You find AKs on the button and smooth call. Blinds fold. Headsup to the flop. Flop: 9-6-2r MP bets $12, hero calls. Turn: 9-6-2-(3)r MP bets $20, Hero raises to $65, MP thinks then calls. River: 9-6-2-(3)-(A)r MP checks, Hero... Is this a half pot bet? |

Sorry. MP ~350, Hero ~800. 300 max buy-in.

I think 1/2-2/3 pot seems about right - he's a calling station, right? Fold to a large reraise, though.

We need stack sizes but I am leaning towards all-in.

On a K, I almost definitely push. On an ace....I still like a push. Or a check.
