Default AA my biggest loser... Help!

Well, aces are my biggest losing hand by far at Stars.

I've had them 12 times, won 58% of the time, and am losing an average of $17.79 at 100NL.

Tell me if i'm playing this wrong, please. No, this isnt a bad beat, my opponent is a donk though.

that's a scary board for aces. All i can say is that i'd push after the 20 dollar raise. This looks like one or those hands where you want to flip over your cards and show them you have the best hand just to take down the money now and not risk a bad beat

I would raise more the first reraise you make, something $12 or a bit higher is my standard. The rest I think is fine.

I hate talking about preflop raises, but your preflop raises are little more than miniraises. You raise the $4 to only $10, but a full pot-sized raise would be $14.50. I think you should at least raise to 3x the previous bet (if you're not going to pot it). After the flop, you obviously have to call. Looks ok overall except for the odd preflop raises. Basically this is just a bad beat.

This hand is fine, and don't worry, 12 times isn't enough a large enough sample size.

Agree, how many is enough for NL for a single hand? I think 120 isn't near to enough either.

Oh, I completely agree that this isn't a large sample to show a real problem with how I play them... Aces usually win me money but i'm running bad.

Villains in this hand had....

J9s (hearts), and TT (the guy all-in PF)

Yes, J9s calling 50 PF... i'd buddy list him if I could figure out how to do this on stars

You can search for him under "Find Player" then you have him in the list next time you log in. Much trickier than party's buddylis though where you can search for all the Buddies at one time etc.

In that hand you did nothing wrong short of what's said already or pushing preflop. You got unlucky. That's poker.

As long as they still have 1 out, you're not a guarantee.. it's not a lock.
