Video: HU $50 on pokerstars

Here is a 20 minute video of a headsup match on pokerstars. Opponent is one of the better ones I've played against so far. Good match. Please critique, as I have just switched over from six-max and I'm relatively new to the Pokerstars format.

Download divx media player, that should have the codec which allows you to watch.

Instead of going through the hassles of codecs I recomend VLC mediaplayer, free, open source and does not require any further downloading. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

I don't play NL so this advice may be crap: I'd reraise more often facing an SB pre-flop raise. I think you only RR twice, both with solid hands. I think you can mix in some RRs from the BB with more marginal hands. Since I don't play NL, I have nothing more to add.

Also, your opponent played horribly when it was shallow. He called a raise for half his stack and check-folded? Huh?

There was a time when you raise PF, he min-reraises you, then you call. You have some suited ace and the flop comes like A83, he bets and you push. Why? What worse hands is he going to call you with and what better hands is he going to fold? Flat call is much better.

You are allowed to fold preflop more often. I don't know what a normal day is like when you're not hitting every flop but, really, stuff like J3s for a raise, completing from the button with 26o, etc. you can just fold preflop. You really don't lose anything by doing so.

Its good that you're continuing with your made hands and your bluffs but I would still mix it up more often. Check behind sometimes on the paired boards (with and without the goods) etc.

You stayed in one speed the whole game. Generally this is bad.

Lastly you are giving a lot of credit to bets on later streets. Maybe too much. I don't know how often opponents are delayed bluffing but it seems particularly good against you.
