Default 33 and a big pot

PF raiser was loose but hadn't been raising preflop much. I called because I thought I could outplay him on a low card flop. Big blind is an idiot. Plays a lot of hands badly.

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is Button with 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG raises</font>, 2 folds</font>, Hero calls, SB calls, BB 3-bets</font>, UTG calls, Hero calls, SB calls.

At this point I felt tied in to see flop and am planning on folding most every flop, barring a set.

Flop: (12 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)</font>
SB checks, BB bets</font>, UTG calls, Hero calls, SB folds.

This flop is really good, and since I am 99% sb will either fold or call, I decide to peel.

Turn: (7.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets</font>, BB folds, UTG calls.

Other than a 3, the best cards I could see. Now any 6 or A gives me a straight, and a three fills my set. Plus, with all of the raisers checking to me, I think I might be able to take this. I want to at least knock one player out and pray for that safe river.

River: (9.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)</font>
UTG checks, Hero bets?

I'm pretty sure this is a value bet so I don't know if I have to fold a hand. But at the time of the hand I was definitely rooting for no showdown. Thoughts?

I hate preflop. Your hand sucks multiway. 3-betting his raise ain't that great either. You'll probably get a cold caller or two when you 3-bet.

It doesn't matter whether you can outplay him postflop because you are giving better odds for the blinds to come along. They're probably calling anyways.

Also, how do you outplay loose players? You don't make moves on them.

I check the turn having made it there. EDIT: They checked to you, you are probably good.

Your set outs are no good (makes a wheel straight) and a 6 makes a higher straight although they are unlikely to have an 8.

The river looks fine. He'll call with ace high.

Fold pf or 3bet, nah just fold.

Overcalling this flop cant be correct.
