Default Abreivations

Hi there I presume there is a link to the abreivations used in most threads somewhere I think I understand most of them but I have no idea what is ment by +/- EV

Sorry if this topic has already been posted but I couldn't see it on the threads I viewed,, maybe a sticky on the first page would help newcomers alike [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

EV = Expected Value, or the average result from a hand.

If it's +EV, you make money, -EV you lose money.

Read about it in Theory of Poker. Good book.

I believe stickied in the STT forum, they have a post that has all the poker verbage if you are interested in knowing any more stuff.

lol its in my poker book wish list I got a good deal on HOH Vol 1 and SS2 so there on the way [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
