I think we should be a little cooler to newer posters, especially if we're gonna justify NOT being cool by quoting a 'policy' that we relax for people 'who have contributed'. EDIT: lock this if you need to, I wanted to post in the thread itself but it was locked. |

I haven't seen the donkbet thread or the vote for GoT thread. I haven't gotten any notify moderator emails about them either. Private Joker's post get more leeway becayse he has been here longer. It's been agreed amongst the mods that letting established posters get away with more is the proper thing to do.
I felt I was being cool about it by giving an explanation and locking the thread instead of saying nothing and deleting it. I'm locking this now just because I don't want this discussion to take up room here. I'll be glad to talk about it more if you want to PM me. |
