A situation I dont exploit enough, and unsure how to
When neither low nor big stack say 20BB+- in MTT one frequently arrives in situation where one have position on perhaps 2-3 limpers,or 1 raise and one-two limpers, but no real hand. If card dead or weak how often and how do you try to take advantage of the situation when the blinds/pot have reached a value of interest. Say you hold 55 in lp and there are 3 limpers infront, do you limp for set value or raise to take it down and/or allow for creativness postflopp if no hit. What would you do if your hand for instance was T6s?
Would you do anything different if in Sb? In the scenario above there are no strong indications of tendencies to SP monsters nor any quite desperate stacks yet, and at most two-three players yet to act. |

Re: A situation I dont exploit enough, and unsure how to
As with most situations it depends. Sometimes the limpers give up quick preflop if you raise. Sometimes they always call your re-raise and then will fold to most flops.
Sometimes they are just straight calling stations and your better off limping behind catching a big hand and stacking them. Your better off posting a hand or maybe even three where you did each and then getting advice from there. |
