($6) Play on bubble with extreme shortstack
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (4 handed) converter
Hero (t1950) SB (t2980) BB (t7745) UTG (t825) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 1 fold Nice hand.. but the short stack is just about to be put virtually all-in on the next hand. Is it worth risking bubbling out with this hand? I eventually did push, and the blinds folded. However, I'm not really sure about the play. That brings us to our next hand.. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (4 handed) converter Hero (t3000) Button (t2630) SB (t7095) BB (t775) Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Wow, i'm a luckbox. However, if I push and get a call, the BB might just fold and sneak into the money anyway. Is there a better way to play this, or should I just shove and risk it? |

Re: ($6) Play on bubble with extreme shortstack
Forgot reads..
The SB has a very wide calling range (maybe top 60%) and has been a giant pain in the ass by pushing over the top on my steals. The BB is a very solid player by $6 standards, but is a little too passive. He'd probably call with top 25%. |
