Default Right amount of action?

Villain is 20/9.5 over 350 hands. He's a post-flop LAG with a WSD of 41% and an AF of about 3. Only one table read: he raised and capped it pre-flop with AJo, then bluff-raised the flop (hu at this point) and bluffed the turn (checked the river). This hand was against me, but in a previous session.

looks good to me. I would consider capping the turn and seeing how the action plays out on the river (ie betting if checked to and calling a raise or just calling if bet into).

With a flop like AJ8 I wouldn't have thought twice before capping, but I'm not sure how often this player defends with A2. Heck, he may not even defend with A6.

I missed that you opened in EP rather than a steal position so various two pair hands are less likely. I wrote my response thinking you opened this from CO/HJ so in your case I don't like a turn cap....nh

I play this the same but why arent we raising the river? Isn't the river 4 a perfect stop n go?

I can see raising the river as this card is unlikely to change who is ahead in the hand (unless he hit a straight).

If this opponent is the LAG OP says he is, he'll either 3-bet or just call the river. The 3-bet on the turn probably means he's overplaying his hand as expected. I'd be surprised to be losing here unless he was slowing AA/KK from the BB or had some set. This is doubtful as this opponent seems to be raising preflop with his good hands; he'd probably reraise with premium holdings like that.

So I think a raise for value and calling a 3-bet against this opponent would be good idea.
