OMG 2, could i have folded this?
same setup as first OMG
six handed tourney clueless opposition except for player #3 = solid and aggressive stacks: conner folds player 3 completes the sb to 4 (blinds of 2/4 his stack of roughly 125) i (stack of t180) raise to 12 because i figure my hand's ahead of almost any hand he would have limped with he reraises to 22 (i know not a legit raise but its a home game, tryin to keep it friendly) i call flop: A J 4 he bets 4 i "deliberate" and call (planning to trap HU) turn: A he bets 8 i raise to 20 he pushes for 68 more i call... thoughts? |

Re: OMG 2, could i have folded this?
If he's as "solid" as you say he is, he might have you beat. Hard to say without getting a read on him. He might have a high PP like KK QQ, hoping the second ace hitting means it's less likely you have an ace. But I think you're beat here. He may even have jacks full.

Re: OMG 2, could i have folded this?
Just being a nit here, but what exactly was illegal about his raise? If the blinds are 2/4, your bet TO 12 constitutes a raise of 8, his raise to 22 constitutes a raise of 10. Am I missing something here?

There's nothing wrong with the reraise.
