Looks pretty good to me. I would like it better on a rainbow flop, but that's not really much of an issue.

cool. thats the first thing i thought and the reason i posted it.

agaisnt a more passive player the cr line is best i think since the turn donk will often freeze his overpair.

however, against an aggro player the bet/3bet line would make more money against an overpair. but is an aggro player certainly capable of 3betting less than an overpair on the flop? given the action thus far it seems unlikely. still, even if he does have ak/aq it prevents a free card.

the more i write and think the more i like a turn donk here.

i dont like this here. villain will always bet to "protect his hand" if he has something like AA-QQ without a spade. also im pretty sure he'll bet with even something like Asx or Ksx.

but i dont think he raises here often enough when you donk to make it more profitable. a TAG might take his hand into calldown mode if you play your hand like this.

oh, i dont know. he might raise AA-QQ. nevermind.

I think betting out on the turn is a lot better if the spade didn't come. Especially if you're not very well known to him, he could easily freeze up and not raise.

very good point.

edit: to be honest i didnt even see the spade until this post. i just *knew* he had an overpair and thats what i was trying to maximize against.

however, with the spade cring is clearly the best line.

there are a lot of lines here. I don't like the turn c/r line here though because it'll freeze your action sometimes.
