Default 88 troubled by the river

I was fairly pleased with how I played this hand until the river. It played like somebody had picked up a draw on the turn, so I was nervous about betting the river - was I seeing monsters?

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, UTG+2 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (10.40 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, MP3 checks, CO checks.

Turn: (5.20 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, UTG+2 bets, MP3 folds, CO calls, BB folds, Hero raises, UTG+2 calls, CO folds.

River: (10.20 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets...

Final Pot: 14.20 BB

Diamonds and J9 are both certainly possible, but I like the river bet. Villain probably just flopped middle pair or something.

bet/call looks like the only way to play it to me. 9J or [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]diamond: are very possible.

The way this hand played out, you do not have nearly enough information to fold here.

Yowser, I wasn't thinking of folding, just check-calling maybe.

Not betting because you think you might not have the best hand in the situation is terrible. How incredibly weak do you want to be?

Good time for a bet. You will get called by a huge range of hands. UTG+2 could have bet a hand with a T in it thinking it was still good or even TP with a weak kicker.
