party, poker stars and linux/linspire
I am in the process of building my own computer. I have had the opportunity to work with linux and the linspire operating systems and I really like them. Can I download and play party poker, poker stars or any other poker client with linspire?
Thanks for the advise, Ryan |

Re: party, poker stars and linux/linspire
They're just too lazy to port it to another OS. I don't think they'll ever want to invest the time it would take to capture that small of a market segment. Some sites have already done it though: UultimateBet, PokerRoom, 24HPoker, and Hollywood Poker (source: Linux compatible online poker ) Enjoy!

Re: party, poker stars and linux/linspire
You can run Stars through wine, but read the application database entry first.
I installed Party once a few months ago, but I wasn't able to log in with it. I tried running it again for this post, but, it isn't updater isn't downloading anything. |
