Moving to Carson City/Reno Soon

I will be moving to the neighborhood in December and am starting to get discouraged about the poker scene after reading a few posts. I visited a month ago and went to the El Dorado on the weekend. I was playing at odd times due to my schedule but I don't recall anything bad. Only having a 8/16 or was it 6/12, doesn't bother me. There seemed to be alot of players and I can only assume there was a fair amount of fish among them. Carson City was a different scene all together, mostly locals.

If anyone plays in the Reno/Carson City area on a regular basis, can you fill me in on the games over a period of time, not just one weekend? I heard the Reno Hilton has higher limits but didn't get there. How is that game? Again, I assume the weekdays are local rocks, but I would also assume the tourists on the weekends make it interesting.
