yuck. im having a really hard time putting him on a hand. 88 raises likely preflop. so the only set is 22. J8 and Jhxh are both possible. I call the turn and see what happens.

First of all, i like preflop.

Secondly, i hate getting raised, here, but it's a pretty easy calldown IMO. He woudlnt be out of line raising Jx of hearts, especially if he gets a free showdown.

Preflop raise is okay here. I raise here a lot, though it's close enough you can check or raise here based on variation and if you think you can exploit players one way or the other.

Villain looks to be very aggressive and there aren't too many credible holdings here, so I think calling down is right. Aren't KhJh, QhJh, JhTh, Jh9h, Ad6d, Ad2d all credible holdings?
