my sample size on villian is small enough that we might as well consider him an unknown. he didnt seem too donkish.

Party Poker 20/40 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, UTG calls.

Flop: (5.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

I'd bet at that river. even if over 20 hands he has &lt;30 VPIP that's good enough for me

I like it. Smells like a T, K, or QJ. I guess some people are peeling with a gutshot here but that's not calling a bet anyway. Crappy river. Nh.

What do you give UTG that he'll call a river bet with and we beat? Or are you just saying the average unknown is a total donk and 30 hands isnt enough?

it's a value-bluff... in other words, a T might fold but a 5 might call. we don't know the guy but you can't ignore the times that he pays off with a worse hand

i check it down. dont think a bet folds a better hand nearly ever unless its TQish and even then hell only fold sometimes.
