It's Dewar's White Label, I realize probably not the best scotch in the world, but I know that it's the scotch I see drank most often, so I thought I'd pick some up.

I usually have scotch before a high quality steak dinner (think Capitol Grill or Chef Geoffs) and wine with the meal. Scotch has a potential to overpower whatever food you are eating and so I would save it for pre and post dinner drinking.

A better question is what scotch goes good with what cigars.
