I'm trying to learn stud, so I'm curious as to why you'd fold 3rd here. I thought 3 big cards were good enough to call?

Well, whatever. You were ahead the whole time, so don't worry about it. The worst I've seen is in a hi/lo tourney when I was heads up and started with (AA)8 and my opponent (TT)2...we both get it nearly all-in on 3rd (as the bets were huge at that point). My other 4 cards were something like 5 4 4 7, and my opponents were 3 4 5 6. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]
