66
1 limper in EP, hero limps with 66 in mp, co limps, bb checks. BB is 30/3/.3 over a smallish sample (calling station).
Flop is 347 rainbow. (4SB) BB checks, EP checks, Hero bets, CO folds, BB calls, EP folds. I bet figuring that I got second pair, a gutshot, and overcards won't have correct odds to chase. My strategy for the turn depends on how much action I get here. Turn:Q, two spades on board. BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls. River: Q BB checks, Hero ??? (is this a check or a value bet?) |

Re: 66
I say bet. BB would've probably bet a 7 on the flop and is most likely calling down with the 3,4, or maybe overcards. I think you will win this hand at least 50% of the time when you're called.

Re: 66
Well value bet it is, and value bet it was. BB called with 97o.
Anything to learn from this? Probably not, except maybe his low aggression may have signaled that I can't rule out top pair on the flop. |
