I'd only raise this if I'm opening, or if I had some read that the limper was a total fish. This is a marginal hand in MP.

easy preflop raise this late in the table being the second in. raise for value, limit the field, buy the button.

hand would play differently from there including giving odds to call to turn if bet into. easy flop fold: pot is too small.

Hero should fold the flop, but this is also raise or fold preflop. I raise this the large majority of the time, but if for some reason I'm not comfortable raising (the limper is very solid, the players yet to act are quick to 3-bet, I have no chance of getting the button, etc.) then I'm folding.

I'm raising preflop with this. Buy button, fold opponents, could very well be ahead of one limper already. As this is, I'm folding the flop, but a PF raise makes the whole hand play different.
