Villain should probably raise the river. Villain should also fold preflop.

Unlucky river - you were ahead the whole hand until that river card hit. As an aside, why were you overbetting the pot so aggressively? A flop bet of 200, followed by a turn bet of 300 and a river bet of 500 seems way too high here, especially in the first hand of the tournament. You have no reads on villain and you're driving up a pot to a level where losing it puts you in a bad spot and you are either way ahead or way behind. A check-raise on the flop or turn might have saved you, but I'm guessing that ><> was calling down with his paired King no matter what you did here - even a push wasn't getting him to lay down his 2 pair (even before the river cards help).

As for the aggression, I had a pretty good hand, and thus wanted to get the most chips possible out of the opponent. and i made him pay to see the cards. That said, I do agree that my 500 bet on the river was too high and maybe even unnessessary, because villian was calling all of my bets and might have already made his 2-pair (or twos-full) with his Kx.

You played in a $1 micro MTT. You had some donkey call you down when it was obvious he was beat. He hit a 3 outer on the river and got lucky. Bad beat... move on.

For what it's worth I think even if he misses the 6 on the river he still calls. But a check wouldn't have been bad move.
