Long term negative MGR
I'm planning to sign up for a poker site just for bonuses so I won't be earning any rakeback. However, if anything happens to the situation at my primary site I would probably switch over to the new site. So I definitely want to have a rakeback deal in place.
My question is, what happens if I have a negative MGR for 6 months, a year, or more? If I suddenly started playing on the site after a year of only bonus whoring am I likely to receive my rakeback (assuming the affiliate is still in business)? Will I get "dropped" for being negative? |

Re: Long term negative MGR
Likely your affiliate will get rather pissed off, as a negative MGR will be costing him money AFAIK. Most of these rakeback affiliates are only pocketing 1 or 2% so the last thing they need is players racking up negative MGR
Having said that I wouldn't think your MGR would be negative unless you're playing 50c/1.00 only.. |

Re: Long term negative MGR
Is that really all they make 1-2% ? It seems like they should make a bit more as the poker rooms are paying up to 35% and they give back 27.5%, or most of them do at least. |

Re: Long term negative MGR
In the grand scheme of things, the amount of neg MGR generated by an optimized bonus whore is a negligible amount!
