Default Bloat the Pot

MP3 is loose passive.
MP1 is solid TAG.

Preflop - anyone fold when it's 2 back to you?

Anyone like the flop cap given the board?

What about the river over call? I feel like I should have raised.

Flame away.

I'm curious about the first flop bet.

I think going for the overcall on the river makes more sense than 3-betting as MP1 appears to have committed to seeing a showdown and you collect the same bet you would get from a 3-bet where he folds and MP3 calls, and you don't open yourself up to a MP3 cap which I'd like to think is KdXd but would not really be that surprised at anything he turned over anymore.

Do you really think MP3 checks the turn through and then has a hand your behind on the river? I'm 3-betting.

i'm folding preflop to a loose passive 3 betting out of the SB.

since MP3 didn't bet the turn, i don't see any chance of him having a boat. and by eliminating that possibility, you might as well raise. being MP1 is a TAG, he may throw away the river anyway. so i think it's more likely to collect the extra bet from MP3 then MP1.

I would overcall the flop, your raise is likely to be re-raised by the pre-flop capper and we run a bigger risk of losing customers. Ideal line would be call the flop, MP1 raises, MP3 calls, SB calls, we 3-bet for value, and re-open it to a cap.

Turn is good, we're likely behind an overpair, so having it checked through is ideal.

I would prefer to re-raise the river. MP1 capped pre-flop, so I think there is a good chance he has a big overpair here, possibly KK's or QQ's. With this board we stand some chance of him making a crying call, so I think we get more value on average with a raise.

Plus, I don't see what could be beating us on this board to warrant an overcall for "safety" reasons. TT (or 99,77) has us beat but nothing in this hand really suggests anyone has TT. Wouldn't MP3 bet the turn last to act with TT? Wouldn't SB lead the river after the turn got checked through?

First flop raise is standard and a must. Clearing up Any ace outs are huge, plus you have a large amount of equity. Cap is good with 4 players in and 30% equityish. Plus deception.

Sweet check thru on the turn.

River RAISE!!!!! Did MP3 really raise the flop with a boat and then check the turn through?!
