Default Quick pf question

(41/16) opens in MP, unknown CC's on the button, Hero has A10o in SB, BB is loose.

Is this a call, fold or raise?

Default Re: Quick pf question

How much do I have in?

I don't see much point in raising. It's too late to get heads up and ATo won't play well multiway versus a typical hand range for a 16% PFR.

The cold reality of this hand is you will rarely survive the flop unless you pair your hand, but if you do pair your hand you are out-of-position and far from winning.

You could consider calling but I certainly wouldn't object to a circumspect fold. A lot depends on how badly these people play postflop. Also how likely BB is to make this three bets.

One problem is your reads on the field are very weak. It's going to be hard to play well when you know so little about what's happening.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up folding but just wanted to check if thats generally a mistake in this spot. I felt comfortable with the fold and my logic was similar to yours.
