Default Valuebetting with ace high

I just discovered valuebetting with ace high out of position heads up in very loose short handed games. When firing on a drawless board on every street with AK UI, I used to check/call the river, but have found that so often they will call you with some seriously weak nonpaired hands. Depends on the opponent, of course, but looks like I found another source of bets. Has this been discussed here before? I haven't seen it mentioned. Is it just spewing and I've been getting lucky that they didn't pick up any pairs either? Any links to threads that have discussed this already are appreciated.

Check/calling should be better most of the time. I'd only valuebet it against specific opponents who have a history of calling with high card.
