Default $ 100 MTT: Would you fold AK preflop here?

Daily $100 buy-in late night crapshoot MTT at Ladbrokes. Finale table with 6 players left, blinds 4.000/8.000. I'm third with 69K in chips, the big stack is 113K. The small stack is UTG with 36K and goes all-in. I'm next to act with

After a long and hard think I choose to fold. Everyone else folds behind me. I told I folded AK, and asked what he had, claimed to have had AK as well.

I had him covered and the odds to call, he had an M of 3, so God knows why I folded. Just felt like it.

Well. I finished second in the the tourney an made 2K. Allright night.

no way.. not in that situation late in tournament and guy who pushes only has 4 BB's left.. You could have him easily dominated, people make this move with far less than PP's, I'd do it with 9-10 or even less

6 handed against a guy with fewer than 5 BB I'm pushing to isolate 100% of the time.

I think you'll see A5ish+ here, I can understand wanting to fold... but I wouldnt do it. You win this and you're up neck and neck with chip lead. Play for first!!

Oh man. What's the point of telling the table you folded AK? It's not to your advantage to tell the table that you fold basically everything.

If I'm the small stack here I am pushing with AQ, AJ, AT, KQ, maybe even KJ, because I'm desperate for chips and need to take my chances. Obviously, if he has any of those hands, it's a disaster for you not to call.

You really don't get many opportunities this good at a final table and this was a must-call.

honestly, if I thought that they would believe me, I would say exactly the same thing... if I had folded 27o. That sets up a superb table image for later pushes/raises.

But if I really folded AK... I woulda said something like... "guh! you have to pick the one time I have T2o to push".

or just not talk.

A definite call there. I can't say folding AK to a straight all in at a 6 handed table at all, personally...if the guy isn't a huge stack.

If he flipped one of his cards to show me an ace or a king, I would push. Even if he flipped his cards to show me QQ, I would push, but I guess that's close.
