If you check and then call on the flop and then after that lead the turn, then you're making a donk-bet.

It's what normal poker players have been calling a "weak lead" for years. For some reason this wasn't funny enough for 2+2ers.

Isn't a stop & go also considered a donk bet. Villian bets, you raise, he calls. Villian leads turn.

You non-sunglasses-and-baseball-cap-wearing old-timers, with your "weak leads" and your "reads" - you probably still play at those old-fashioned "tables" in "casinos," and don't even high-five your whole posse every time you win a tournament hand! You...you dealer-tipper!

Get with the new world - people who say "donk" show that they're in the exclusive club of the modern cool poker player. And "gaybet" is even better, adding that hint of homophobia that screams to the world, "I NEED A GIRLFRIEND!!!"

Hope I could clear that up, old man.

A stop and go is a bet/call check/raise. A donk bet is a bet call bet.

I believe a S&G is any action where you start as the aggressor then back off when shown aggrssion and then you lead out again on the next street.

It's lame to even discuss this so much, but here's an easy guide:

Action goes: bet/raise/call -> turn comes and you bet, this is a stop and go.

Action goes: check/bet/call -> turn comes and you bet, this is the gaybet or donkbet.
