Is this raise on the flop OK with TT?

With a raiser and caller along with you preflop and then a $9 bet after the flop I would have to think that someone is holding something better than your 10's. When he bet $9 on the flop you could have called I guess, but I probably would have thrown the hand away. If he is holding JJ-AA you are a big underdog with very little chance of catching one the last two 10's in the deck.

Actual question not being critical:
By just calling the pre-flop raise how do you know your T's are good enough to make the flop bet? It seems like you could have found out for a little cheaper before the flop? Any one Please comment

Both players in EP must have pretty decent hands to call raise then call. I think at least one player has overs so your looking at 50/50 or so preflop with no position.
