Default AQ in level 3 ($22)

This is one of the spots where I get lost, a raise to 150-200 will signifigantly affect my stack for later rounds. Not to mention I'm missing the flop over half the time. So I limped, how bad is that?

Also, what do you do if you raise and the flop comes as it did?

Kinda bad. You have position and probably the best hand.

And only the limper called? And he checked? I'd prolly push.

Only when he calls and you give up the pot.

Pop it to 200, and if you get a call, follow jman's line.

I push here you got 1 UTG limper who probably wanted to see a cheap flop only 2 to act your hand is too strong here to limp.

As it played out I'd bet 50-100 take the free turn and call a small bet on the river fold to a large one.

2.5 bb's is my standard opening raise at all levels...for exactly this reason-that is what i would do here

edit: missed the limper...raise 200-300...AQ is a v strong hand against the blinds and a weak limper, don't be afraid of what 'might' happen, this is a math problem and you have the best of it....RAZE
