Default Time to Leave

I raise on the button with A-8. By the river there are two of us left, the board is T-T-5-5-K or somesuch similar (two pair), and there is no bet. An opponent shows A-9 and I muck. Aaach . . .

I decide it's time to leave. I tell a friend at the table what I did and that I think I need to leave. I decide to play one more round. What an idiot.

Of course, I get pocket aces during the round, raise a bazillion limpers, I get to 3-bet the flop, my hand holds up as I get called down by a guy who flopped a king to match the one in his hand, and I stack two bazillion chips.

Sometimes, there's no justice.

"a guy who flopped a king to match the one in his hand,"

as opposed to the one he dropped on the alley out back? what?

mike still really needs glasses update: ive lost about $500 now from misreading hands in the past month or so, both online and live.

If by one more round, you mean, "till I get one sweetass pot back because of my donkey mistake", then yes you should stay one more round.

It does once the other player's hand hits the muck.
