Default standard flop fold w 88?

bet365 1/2 game

generally loose/passive, loose/agg opponnets.

hero calls UTG+1 with 88, mp2 calls, bb checks.

flop comes 6T6

bb checks, hero bets, mp2 raises, bb folds, hero folds.

standard yes?

I would play it the same.

I would expect MP2 to most likely have Tx and the pot is small.

were there any draws on the flop? You really need to put all the info into the post.

If no draws and if I have no reads on oppoeont then I'm folding. HU makes this a close call though. I don't think calling down would be bad either

the flop was a rainbow, so no fl draws.

I've been getting destroyed with my mid pocket pairs over the last 5k hands, and I'm thinking that calling down in this situation has been contributing to the problem.

I can't see someone open-limping with overcards and then getting flop frisky without a hand.

Without any reads, it's a fine fold. The T is better than your 8, so if he got a piece of it, you're screwed. If it were 667, you've got a very different situation and I would trust my gut as to which way to play it. (Call/donk, fold, 3-bet, Call/check-call/bet.) It also depends on what falls on the turn.
