A check-raise should tell you if he paired his Ace or if he only has a big pair.

If he raises 3% of hands, how many does he 3-bet? If the read is robust, then I think you are behind and have 2 (or 0)outs.
If the read is after <100 hands, I would c/r and fold to further aggression from this passive player. |
