Default 3/6 6m 44 against MarkL444

Folded to MarkL444 who opens on the Button. I call in the BB with 44. In past blind defenses with him I've mixed it up with calls and reraises.

Flop: 799r.
Bet, raise, call.

Turn: 3.
Bet, raise, call.

River: 6.
Check, bet, call.

Am I fish?

Hmm, well you are using the "I have a monster" line and he keeps raising you. Do you guys have a very aggro HU history? If not, I'm folding both the turn and the river. If you do, I would rather check/call, check/call, bet or something.

What do you think he's raising you with on the turn? If he has A-high and thinks you may be fos, wouldn't he want to just call down to avoid being 3-bet?

I'd 3 bet on one of the first three streets.

Only use this line if you are going to fold to the turn raise. Otherwise CR flop.

EDIT: Btw, 3-betting the turn is much better than calling down, since he can't possibly cap a worse hand. If he calls, then check/fold the river.

Is folding the river here wrong? I'd usually call, but most tags aren't betting that river with anything you beat.
