Re: Handcuffed with aces..........
Raise more pre-flop. Somewhere around $20 total. When people make these weird inviting raises on me, I've found that it usually means AA or KK, and I get suspicious.
Flop is Ok. Against certain opponents, I fold here, tho. But you don't know this guy, so it's ok. The turn is perfect for you. Not betting here is very bad, IMO. The only thing that he could possibly have here would be a strangly played T8. The board pairing is terrifying to a guy who's prolly drawing to something. Go for the jugular and bet 75-100% of the pot. Checking river is Ok, but I like a value bet, too. Actually, reverse that... I like the value bet better. gl Marlow |

Re: Handcuffed with aces..........
Raise more preflop on button; will look more like steal more likely to get him to really play back with 99 or AQ.
I dont mind turn, against a somewhat observant opponent. He may suspect the flop bet/call raise, c/r turn move. Maybe a blocking bet on river. |
