Default PreFlob Hands

I'm reading the book small stakes holdem and have question regarding hands to play....hopefully someone can clarify

From the middle positon the guidelines are play T9s-98s. Does this mean play only those two hands or the range between the two hands (T7s,T6s,T5s...98s) I'm guessing just the two but would like someone to clarify..

Also, could anyone please tell me if there is a way that I can get in touch with the authors of "Small Stakes Hold 'em: Winning Big With Expert Play (Paperback)
by Ed Miller, David Sklansky, Mason Malmuth

Thanks and looking forward to all replies

T9s-98s means T9s and 98s.

T9s-54s means T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, 54s.

T8s-64s means T8s, 97s, 86s, 75s, 64s.

Ed, David, and Mason are all regular posters here (maybe not this exact forum, but on this site).
