My Last 15k Hands Or So...what do you think?
I have been trying to play my best game over the last month or so. I realize that this should always be my goal but I have reduced the amount of play a little, and played more sessions during times/days of the week that I know to be good. The data over the last 15k hands represent 80% $2/$4 full ring games and 20% a mix of $3/$6 and $5/$10 full ring games. I have built up my roll of $200 from January to one that is suited for $15/$30. I still only play small stakes and am really taking my time before graduating to middle limits. I feel confident in my game and am interested in getting some feedback on my numbers. I don't have specific hand questions at this time, just opinions about my overall PT numbers. Thanks in advance.
VPIP = 26.90 Folded SB To Steal = 67.16 Folded BB To Steal = 35.64 Att. To Steal BLinds = 31.67 W$ When Saw Flop = 35.67 BB Won Per 100 = 3.94 Went To Showdown = 38.40 Won $ At SD = 49.28 Raised PF = 10.05 Aggression: Flop = 1.44 Turn = 1.84 River = 1.42 Total = 1.55 So, how do the numbers look and how do they compare to winning players at the $5/$10 and $10/$20 games? |

[/ QUOTE ] I am almost certain it won't be possible to keep a 4BB/100 hands at whatever you are going to play, especially with a VP at 25+. All that said, stats only show so much. |

VPIP = 26.90 [/ QUOTE ] That's way too high. And probably the cause of the low post aggression. |

I am on the loose aggressive side for sure. I believe my numbers are a few points higher than normal because I have been playing a lot of weekend hours when the Party tables are juicy. That being said, at these levels I think I play my game best at a VPIP of over 20%. I know this won't translate well at the $10 / $20 game and perhaps it is less than optimal at at $2 / $4 game.

your vpip is to high and your agression is also too low. I also think that your won at $ at sd is too low (I think it should be at like 55)

Re: My Last 15k Hands Or So...what do you think?
I am not sure if the numbers reflect it, but I feel like I come alive on the turn most often. I will often take a back seat on the flop in order to get a check raise in on the turn or to have an EP player bet into me in order to raise and protect on the turn.
Also, I tend to play fairly straight forward if I show strength pre-flop. I raise preflop and then when checked to on the flop I most likely will make a continuation bet, even if I flop a very strong hand. This often leads to people checking to me again on the turn and river. W$ At SD is below 50%...looks like I am making a few too many crying calls at the end. |

You are also overdefending your blinds

Where do you feel these blind defense numbers should be generally? Are they significantly high (10% or more)?

Re: My Last 15k Hands Or So...what do you think?
You're definately over defending your blinds, and probably running well. I would suggest cutting your VPIP(start with the blinds) down as close to 20 as you can. This is even more necessary as you move up in limits. A VPIP of 20 would still be considered high by most.
