Is this completely retarted? ATs in SB.
Villian is very loose, probably average to above average aggression. I'll fold to a turn 3-bet.
Is this a terrible flop call? I probably usually c/r the flop here. Re: Is this completely retarted? ATs in SB.
if villan is this loose and aggressive, then check raiseing the flop is a must, since you will make the other two opponents face two cold. since you didnt, i would only checkraise the turn if villan is capable of calling down with a 7 or 99 etc.
if not i like check/calling the turn, and check/raising a river lower than a 10 and that isn't a 7. |

I'd fold the flop on this one. You have 1 overcard with 2 players to act behind you.

Re: Is this completely retarted? ATs in SB.
the turn check/raise and then check is kinda awkward, depends on how donkish he is
I personally woulda check/raised the flop and then led all streets, or went check/call, check/call, check/raise, depending on how stupid villain is. |

the turn check/raise and then check is kinda awkward, depends on how donkish he is [/ QUOTE ] I guess my thinking at the time, and probably wrong, was that I thought he could keep betting w/ a 7, small PP, and would still bet the turn with a heart draw. I only wanted to check the turn on a complete blank. My thinking was that I might get him to take a shot with a busted flush draw or maybe my river check w/ a blank would be suspect enough for him to check through a weak king. I think my play was terrible on this hand, just wanted to see how to play it. I think c/r the flop or check folding was probably best. |
