"Can AA be a low pair and scoop against a pair of deuces?"
Easy - Is this a trick question? (A five card hand with AA in it wouldn't qualify as a low hand in 7stud8. Neither would a five card hand with a pair of deuces.) What are the other cards in the hand with AA? Buzz |

Re: AA vs 22 in 7stud8- rules question
With no qualifer the answer is normally yes, barring any special local rule to the contrary. With an 8 or better qualifer (as most games have) this cannot occur.

Sorry, I was an idiot
Obviously in stud 8 this couldnt' happen- that'll teach me to type late at night.
Didn't know that AA could go low in a split game, though. thanks |

The highest possible low hand in 8-or-better is 8-7-6-5-4
