Bet for sure, unless you want to give hands like QJ, QT, JT, 54 a free look

Yeah that sux, but you gotta bet here. You're second to last to act which may make it seem to some that you're trying to pick up the pot or may be betting a weak hand which usually gets some callers. Just unfortunate your hand didn't get any action is all. I've checked in this spot a couple of times and what usually happened to me is it got checked through, checked again on the turn, I bet, they fold. Once in a while someone will check/call the turn and pay off the river with one pair but I think that about evens out with the times someone sucks out a runner runner straight and you lose. I think you just bet in this spot.

Unless you're 100% sure button is going to bet and you can trap the whole field for 2, bet.

And in that case, I bet anyway. No point in giving free cards when they can call.

I check the flop, you don't want to lose any customers.

Just kidding, of course you bet this. Who cares if anyone folds. Most of the time .5/1 people call, that's what they do. Sometimes you raise AA preflop and everyone folds too, doesn't make it the wrong play.
