I don't think I'd play it any different, but I wouldn't expect to win much after I'm raised on the turn. I'd still call it down at that point and pray he has QQ and not TT.

After I'm raised on the turn, I figure i need a 5, 7, or A most of the time. When I miss, do I still call this river?

Yes you're looking for the board to pair the 5,7 or make trip A on the river to have a good chance at winning the pot. But, he has an oddly played underpair(unlikely) or KK, QQ enough to call on the river getting 17-1.

If he had AJ, he just beat you on the river. If you think he'll cap the flop with AJ, he could have gotten cute with an overpair. Though, on the turn I'm thinking you're most likely looking at 77 or a less likely JTs, I call it anyway given the size of the pot and closing the action.
