Default Too Much of a Double Overcall on Flop?

This was the very first hand of the tournament. I wanted to fold here, but I just figured "if they've got two pair or a set, they've got two pair or a set". I'm simply curious what some of you guys' thoughts are on this hand. Thanks.

wow

t8 calling raise and then pushing a pot-sized bet with 2nd pair low kicker!

qjs, well "most people would kill their own mother before laying down a flush draw"

i'd be worried about a8/a7,88,77 and that's it...

too many pps, straight/flush draws, ax, etc call here for u to fold

Oh boy!!

Whelp, I'm all about respecting the "obvious" 2-pair, set, etc. But I'd have a hard time NOT jumping on the train-wreck here.

1st hand, TON of chips in PF, even more with your lead, OESDs, flush draws....yeah, that push behind isn't particularly alarming in and of itself.

SB's check/call-ai a 'tad' more so. A made hand by him is a possibility - but so is the OESD with the 2rags on board.

Wow. I guess the bad part is, if they ARE both drawing, you have to dodge quite a few cards come turn/river.

For that reason, and the fact you have over 1/4 your stack in there - I reluctantly call.

Ps. UTG, full-table, I'm making that PFr a little bigger.

Me too, especially with it being the first hand. Some people are just anxious to play, and will call a raise like that with a lot of hands. I maybe raise it at least 65. Other then that, I think I go about the same the rest of the way.

Sorry Noah. Sorta new to this whole thing. I'll remember not to post results for hands like this in the future. Thanks.
