The nut straight making me sick
2/4 NL. VILLIAN is BB w/$485. I cover. He's only been there a short time and has been playing pretty normal, nothing spectacular.
I'm on the button w/Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Folded to me. I raise to $13. Both blinds call. Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] check, check, I bet $38. Both players call. TURN: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] check, check, I bet $100 into the $114 pot. SB folds, VILLIAN raises to $200. What now? Just fold? Thoughts on all streets please. |

Re: The nut straight making me sick
I think you gotta fold here.
At best, you're tied, and he's probably freerolling on you. I can't think of any hand that he check/raises here with that you beat, except for air, and people don't usually check/min-raise with air. |
