Default A5o in the SB against a TAG.

6 handed, folded to a guy with TAG stats on button. He raises. You've got A5o in the SB. BB is unknown. What's your play?

If you're calling or 3-betting, do you also do it with A2o?

If you're folding, what's the lowest A you are 3-betting here? What's the highest A you are folding?

with an unknown BB and a TAG raising on the button i'm not calling w/ any ace. I'm either 3 betting or folding. I think A7s/A8o would draw the line for me.

I'll call w/ any ace in the BB if the SB folds, and 3bet A5s/A6o probably. This is all assuming you know him to be a typical player who's capable of steal raises.

He's got TAG stats, so that's a fine assumption. We just don't have specific info on how he's played hands.

I'm generally 3-betting with A5s+ and A7o+, but my standards can change if he folds easily on the flop or if he plays really well postflop.

Get an avatar already. I like your posts, but they don't stand out. I probably miss a bunch of them.

You're comfortable being OOP against a tag here with just A5o?

It's funny you should say that. I moved to Ireland a year ago and can't get broadband where I am living. I turned off everybody's avatar so the pages would load faster, so to me, nobody has an avatar.
