Re: Am I being too aggressive here
Preflop and flop are standard.
What you are trying to accomplish on the turn? MP2 raised preflop and MP3 cold called, then they both called the flop bet. The only reasonable draw is a flush draw, so what are you after? If MP2 holds a lower pp he is welcome to call your turn bet. |

Re: Am I being too aggressive here
Are you being too aggressive, where? Certainly not, preflop.
After that, do you have any reads? Any information at all? Why not bet the turn? By the river, I'd say that your biggest problem is MP3 not MP2. |

Re: Am I being too aggressive here
I think the turn raise is where I may be getting to aggro
I think I bet because, after calling my flop bet, I figured they were waiting for the big bet to fold my "overcards". I also figured if they may have felt safe with the 2 pair counterfited and were trying to bluff - so I raised thinking I could fold 1 or both out. |

Re: Am I being too aggressive here
table is somewhat loose - any ace (shoot sometimes any K or Q too). Blinds will play with random even into a raise.
I am mostly concerned with the turn raise - after they called into me I play possum figuring one will bet and the I cr. But is this the right play with the flush draw and an A out? I don't give MP3 too much credit - he called 2 cold PF and has been chasing alot. In another hand there was a J high flop. No overs on Turn or River. All streets capped to river which was 2 bet and called by bothe these dudes. They bet into / capped with KJ and AT into JJ - trips took down 45BB. |

No way a flush draw is folding to a turn c/r. AK/AQ/AJ is probably not folding either. |

I think I bet because, after calling my flop bet, I figured they were waiting for the big bet to fold my "overcards". [/ QUOTE ] There are no overcards on an ace high flop, which means they generally have to give you credit for a pair of aces or a pocket pair, with the possible hope that you just have KQ/KJ or something. When they called your flop bet it was because they had an ace of their own or a draw. |

Re: Am I being too aggressive here
I would bet the turn, folding to a raise.

Re: Am I being too aggressive here
You're just being wacky. Bet the turn, you don't want to give any free cards.
