Default Smooth call with nut flush or pump it

5-5 500 max at turning stone, 5 limpers, i complete in sb with A8h(normally i raise here) bb checks
flop is T72 2 hearts, checked to the co who bets 25, buttn folds, i call, bb calls, utg+1 calls.
Turn is 5h.
I check??? bb checks, utg+1 checks..co bets 100, I call???
I know i should lead this turn which is what i normally do, but i decided to change it up,
Which of the 3 options is best
1) Leading(this is the correct answer i think)
2) Check raising
3) check calling.
If i decide not to lead for some bizzare reason...which of the other 2 is better.
What if i have position...should i raise or is smoothcalling also an decent alternative.

Leading gives away a strong hand since you are betting into those other guys as well. I prefer a checkraise on the turn to $300. If they are strong you have the same potential to play a big pot as if you had bet out, but by check raising you will at least get a little more money out of a pair. If it gets checked around another strong hand is probably not out there to pay you off anyway.

But I'm assuming that the stacks are big. Otherwise I like check-calling and then betting out on the river for whatever amount you would usually try to steal for.

If you had position, following that same thought process I would raise with big stacks, and smoothcall otherwise.

Badguy, isn't one virtue of your tendency to raise with nothing that you get paid bigtime when you actually do hit a hand?

I can't see why you're not bombing away at this turn. With your style, you might get a calldown from JT or something. Any smaller flush will get allin with you, no problem.

I have actually been experimenting with regular non hyperlag play..and i like it better at lower limits...because betting and raising with anything does not work at a 500max game(at least the one at turning stone)...ppl will call u down with top pair no kicker
Friday night i played in the bigger game...5/10 20 to open and it is much more successful at that levels, cuz ppl can actually lay down hands.
Played with AL Krux..he kept getting owned.

why play smaller limits? it makes a lot of sense though, and explains why I think it's tough to transition to bigger games. money making bluffs in 10/20 and higher are chip spewing idiocy at limits like 1/2 and stuff.
